Find Your Furever Pet

We'd love to help find you your furever pet! We are passionate about finding creative solutions to complex problems. Are you the perfect family or person to adopt one of our animals here at Furever Friends Rescue MN?

Adoption requirements

To ensure our animals go to loving and capable homes, we have a few adoption requirements. You must be at least 18-21 years old and provide information about your home environment, including pet policies if you rent. Approval from your landlord, association, or housemates is also necessary. We love updates like photos and videos of our adopted out animals in their new Furever homes. We always want to assure the safety of our animals here at Furever Friends Rescue MN.

To ensure our animals go to loving and capable homes, if something doesn't work out we ask you to surrender the animal you adopted from Furever Friends Rescue MN back to the rescue. This helps us keep animals out of the shelters and find their Furever homes.

  2. Application Review: The coordinator will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your application and determine if the animal you're interested in is a good fit for your lifestyle.
  3. Home Visit: If the application is approved, a virtual or in-person home visit will be scheduled to ensure the animal's safety and well-being.
  4. Meet and Greet: Once the home visit is approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet the animal and see if it's a match.
  5. Adoption Finalization: If you decide to adopt, you'll sign an adoption contract, and the animal will be yours to take home.

Keep in mind that the adoption process may take some time, and the rescue group's primary concern is finding the best possible home for the animals in their care.
